Dr. Jody O'Brien

Dr. Jody O’Brien was born and raised in Bismarck, North Dakota and performed her undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota. After her undergraduate studies were completed in 1992, she entered dental school at Creighton University. As a sophomore at Creighton she received the SCADA research award in ER-YAG lasers and presented her table clinic at the National ADA Convention. During her dental school years she also completed a mission through the ILAC program in Santa Domingo in the Dominican Republic where she provided dental care to residents living in third world conditions.

After graduation from Creighton Dental School in 1996 she returned to the Twin Cities and joined her father-in-law’s dental practice in Shakopee, Minnesota. She has been an active community member as a Rotarian, Chamber of Commerce Board member, Crime Prevention Board member, St. Mary’s Church Trustee, as well as volunteering at schools, the hockey association and fund raising for the annual town festival.

Professionally she has continued to grow since her graduation from dental school. In 2003 she became certified to perform Invisalign and currently holds an advantage club level status. In 2006 she was certified in California through the AEI to perform Botox and dermal filler procedures. She extensively pursues her passion for esthetics in any cosmetic continuing education coarses and has completed over 100 hours of continuing education in the past two years. Her passion continues at the prestigious and world renowned Las Vegas Institute (LVI.com). Her professional memberships include: ADA, AGD, AACD, AICA, and Advantage level with Invisalign.

Dr. Kevin Bril

Dr. Kevin Bril was born in New Jersey.  He moved with his family to Apple Valley, Minnesota in the early 90's. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of Minnesota in 2003.  He then continued on to the University of Minnesota Dental school where he graduated in 2007. He has been practicing in the Twin Cities area since his graduation. Dr. Kevin has focused on continually educating himself on the profession's newest technologies and the incorporation of these practices into every procedure, in a constant effort to better serve his patients. He has amassed a significant amount of continuing education credit focusing on the areas of oral surgery, implant placement and restoration, endodontic, and laser dentistry. Dr. Kevin strives to continually stay on top of advances in state of the art dental technology and techniques in order to constantly provide patients with exceptional dental care. Dr. Kevin's goal is to provide exceptional care for his patients while utilizing and expanding on his current skills and knowledge in dentistry. Dr. Kevin is a current member of the ADA, MDA and AGD.

Dr. Katie Souza

Dr. Katie Ferraz-Souza was born and raised in St Cloud, Minnesota.  She attended the University of St Thomas in St Paul and earned a Bacehlor of Arts degree in Spanish in 1998.  Dr. Katie completed her post graduate studies at the University of Minnesota where she earned her Doctor of Dentistry Degree in 2009.  She has studied abroad in South and Central America, and was part of the dental support team for victims of Hurricane Mitch that devastated Honduras in 1998.  Dr. Katie is fluent in Brazilian Portuguese and communicates well in Spanish.  Dr. Katie is the mother of five children and is very involved  both socially and professionally in her local community.  Dr. Katie has a passion for helping people, a special interest in working with children and has a focus in providing a more natural and holistic approach to dentistry.  Dr. Katie is always studying and researching better and safer alternatives for her patients.

Dr. Holly Mc Mahon

Dr. Holly (Breeggemann) McMahon was born and raised in Shakopee, Minnesota.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the College of Staint Benedict in 2007 and went on to complete her post graduate studies at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska where she earned her Doctor of Dentistry degree in 2011.  While studying at Creighton, Dr. Holly was very involved in the American Student Dental Association and spent two years on the board of her local chapter.  She volunteered for numerous organizations throughout dental school such as the One World clinic and the annual Give Kids a Smile Day.  As a sophmore, she was rewarded for her efforts and received the Jerome J. Belzer Endowed Scholarship.  During her senior year, she was again recognized and was awarded the prestigious Dr. and Mrs. Philip J. Maschka Award.  This award was presented to the graduating senior who displayed the highest order of professionalism, concern for patients, honesty, integrity, morality, responsibility, and scholastic and clinical ability. Dr. Holly spent 10 years working at O'Brien Dental Care prior to receiving her DDS degree and upon graduating has returned to begin her professional career.  She is very grateful to be offered such a wonderful opportunity to continue her passion of caring for others and enhancing her clinical skills while being part of a collaborative team of highly trained clinicians surrounded by a friendly, cohesive, and professional staff.

Practicing back in her hometown, Dr. Holly will continue her enthusiastic participation in local volunteer endeavors. She is a two time past recipient of the Citizenship Award from the Shakopee Legion and Shakopee VFW.  Dr. Holly is currently an ambassador for the Shakopee Chamber of Commerce and will continue to be active in the professional arena as a member of the ADA, MDA, and the Minneapolis District Dental Society.  These professional organizations allow Dr. Holly to keep up to date with the latest developments in dental technology.
